Wow! It's already December! We'd been having some nice and comfortable weather right up until the 1st of Dec when we got a huge snowfall that started heavy before normal people wake up in the morning, right up until 9pm or so that night, making for a LOT of snow. Winter isn't so bad, except for all the snow, If it could just fall everywhere BUT the roads and sidewalks, it'd be cool, lol.

Anyway, on another, happier, my birthday is coming up very soon, The 19th of Dec, to be exact. It's always a bummer having a birthday so close to Christmas. Everyone seems to think that it's ok to just give a single present and say it's both my Christmas and Birthday present, *sigh* Oh well, not like I'll be getting any gifts this year from anyone besides my mother who lives in town and from maybe my boyfriend. The rest of my family lives at least 3-hour drives away from where I am living right now. Well, I'll probably get maybe $10 in a card from my living grandfather. My father? Bah! He can't even call me to wish me a Happy Birthday or Merry Christmas. My 3 sisters? My oldest sister (age: 28) is having financial troubles herself. Younger sister (18) will probably be spending Christmas with her boyfriend. My youngest sister (17) is currently locked up (not in jail, but in those juvenile correctional centers (called the "Boys' and Girls' Ranch" here) due to all kinds of things that would just make your hair stand on end! Let's just say that she seems to have a problem in figuring out how to keep her clothes on, regardless of the age or criminal record...

Christmas is a rather depressing holiday for me, Before both of my grandparents died on my father's side, every Christmas was spent there, around the immense family on my father's side (my father is from a family of 7 kids). But then a lot happened at once. Started with my grandmother being diagnosed with ovarian cancer and eventually passing away from it after a year (on Memorial Day of 2004).

All major holidays (x-mas, Easter, and Thanksgiving) at my grandparents' house stopped right after her death. It was not long after the funeral that I moved to Fargo, ND (about a 3-hour drive east away from where I was born and raised in Bismarck, ND). Shortly after moving to Fargo, I hook up with an old high school acquaintance that was going to college in Wahpeton, ND (about a 45min to an hour drive south from Fargo) and soon moved in with him in Wahpeton. Lived there for about 2 years and spent our Christmases together at my boyfriend's parents' house in Center, ND (about 4-hour drive west from Fargo, lol). Now we are just way to broke to travel anywhere this Christmas, even with a car that gets literally 3x the gas mileage on the Interstate than our last car had. So, Christmas cards in the mail will have to do,

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to just rant and rant and rant like that, I just didn't realize how crappy my Christmas is going to be, Well, on a happier note... Oh wait, that's right... I was going to say that at least I get to spend Christmas with my boyfriend, but I forgot that he picked up both X-mas Eve and Day at work for some extra money, which is good, but makes for a lonely holiday,

I hope you all have a MUCH better holiday than what I am going to have.

I just joined a new club on dA, . One of the things they ask is for a Journal entry listing what I would want drawn/colored for Christmas, So, here it goes...

If you haven't noticed already, I love the Draenei race from the game, World of Warcraft. If anyone could draw a better action shot of the Draenei Priest (Sarendipity) that I've been leveling, I would love to see someone else do a much better job than me, lol. Or, if anyone just wants to put some much better (more realistic, less "cartoony") than how I've been coloring my Draenei, I've love to see that done.

I'd love to see really any of my lineart put to better colors than what I've done in such a noobish manner, lol. I really suck at my drawing and coloring, lol.

For those of you not afraid of the "mature" artwork, I wouldn't mind receiving some mature works, For a specific idea/example, I would love to see what someone could come up with for a sexy drawing of my Draenei Priest (Sarendipity, click for reference) spending some time with my other character, a Night Elf hunter (Lulakita, click for reference).

I also love My Little Pony (MLP) drawings. I've been loving the Gothic and/or Punk MLP drawings I've seen on dA. I think it'd be cool to see a MLP that has something to do with WoW, lol. I'll just let your own imagination take over with that idea,

NON-gift-time Christmas List

Here, I thought I'd simply add to my Christmas wish list of other possible gift ideas for me for those who feel in the giving mood,

I'd absolutely love to have a subscription on dA, I've never subscribed before and I really can't afford it right now, and I don't see getting the money anytime soon, I think the shortest subscriptions are for a month at a time, but if they do weeks too, I'd gladly accept a week sub if to just see how different it would be, lol.

For all my time here on dA, which is probably next to no time at all compared to many artists that have been on dA since maybe even the day it was created, lol. But, my point is, for all my time here, I've yet to sell a single print of any of my works, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if my works are just not worth buying a print of, lol. I'm thinking the latter. So, as sort of a double-sided gift, if someone were to simply buy one small print of any piece in my gallery, I would be so thrilled!

If you find a piece in my gallery you do like enough to want the print, but the print is not available, please feel free to contact me and ask if I could make the print available. Some of my pieces were not in a high-enough quality to make a print for, so as long as I still have the original, I'll rescan in a much higher resolution and make the print available,

Also, if you find something you like and you maybe want it on, like, a mousepad or coffee mug or whatever else dA has to offer, contact me either in notes or simply a comment on the piece you are interested in, and I will do what I can to make what you want available,
