Literature Text

At sixteen, you came to me.
We had never spoken before.
You were in need of company.
You ended up as my emplorer.

We both found what we lacked.
Work suddenly became tolerable.
To you I started to attract.
Your companionship was enjoyable.

School ended, I was with you always.
My feelings for you became greater.
Yet, I would still avoid your gaze.
Never thought I'd be with you later.

Things just progressed from there.
You began to like me in return.
For me you started to care.
And so for you I did yearn.

We had a long and deep talk.
I was starting to trust you.
On my heart you began to knock.
And in my eyes you saw blue.

Before the end I was in your arms.
Of the age you thought I was afraid.
I was attracted to you charms.
For the morning there I laid.

It was not long I said, "I love you."
In return you said it to me.
To me it was all so new.
In your eyes hazel I see.

You admired my maturity.
I admired your kindness.
Of me you thought witty.
You were full of thoughtfulness.

For us both things were just great.
Months went by, we were in love.
During this time, we were to date.
Only you could I think of.

Change was inevitable however.
At me you started to yell.
I will still leave you never.
This you could never seem to tell.

My father has messed things up now.
Eachother we hardly ever see.
Us you thought Father did not allow.
All I want is for us to be free.
So would you please, be with me?
Forever and always, you I see.
