I Don't Even Like Pink

Yeah, so, really, I truly don't even like pink, lol. Like, I can handle maybe a touch of pink if it's with a ton of black, but that's about it, lol.

So, I was sitting at my desk and I have this little 7.5-inch doll (about half the size of a Barbie, this was originally a Snow White doll, from I have no clue where, lol otherthen I bought her off eBay, lol) and I had this single tiny scrap of stretchy pink fabric with this weird silver on it that makes it look almost "scaly".

So, that piece turned into a quick and simple one-piece, strapless dress, lol. Then, I was like, "hmmm, I remember that I have some pink lacy stuff..." That turned into the "sleeves" to her dress, lol.

Then, here is where my pack-ratting shows through, lol. The pink "belt" she has was actually a small chunk of this hot-pink small rope stuff that I found at the liquor that I work at while I was breaking down the empty boxes, and then I found out that it was something the concrete guys used for marking something during the new parking lot we just got, lol. I find it kinda hilarious that big macho guys that work with concrete use hot pink anything, lol. The red plastic bead was also just a random craft material I saved, lol. I have a tiny baggy of those red beads and black ones the same size.

And then the wings came to me because I started looking at this doll and she was really starting to look like some kind of fairy, lol. So then that reminded me of this package of foam sheets that I got from the dollar store and I remember that it had a bunch of different colors in it and I knew their had to be pink in it, and there was, lol. So, cut out some simple shapes, a little glue here, and then a stiff wire to put them together and a way to put on and off the doll and "flap" the wings either closer together or further apart.

And then some odd pink fairy is born!

Maybe I need more sleep, lmao. It IS past 3am now, lmao, but even that is still way early for me, lmao.
